I think the title doesn't make it sound very cool. I know it's based off an old show but many people wouldn't know that.

Absolutely. The marketing side of this film has been horrible in general in my opinion.

Yeah, if it had been marketed correctly, I think it could have been a big hit in a slow part of the summer movie season.

So I saw this last night, and I thought it was a lot of fun. My only complaint was the story was a little hard to follow. At times, they would just jump to a new scene, and I had no idea why they were there. I loved every scene, but there were definitely times I was a bit lost. Maybe that's on me though.

Okay. The Grantland article agreed with me. I like this quote.

quote:

This movie's attitude toward information is: Whatever. Let's go to Italy.

I admit, I'm still a little unsure of the plot or why they're gonna be called uncle. But I didn't care, just such a pleasant movie to watch.

The Grantland article also referred to it as Tarantino TV, which I can see. Tarantino is my favorite director, and he definitely came to mind during the movie. The dialogue wasnt Tarantino level, but it definitely had that feel at times.

Saw it. Fairly shallow, but a lot of fun. Great movie for just relaxing and enjoying a couple of hours.
