Maisie is a much better actress than Emma Watson. Her audition video for GOT is incredible for someone so young.

Only because of typecasting (which Emma has deftly climbed out of) - if so. Happens to great actors all the time. Look at Leonard Nimoy - once he hit a 540 foot homerun that dented the scoreboard with that role - he was forever, Mr. Spock. He ultimately made peace with it.

British audiences are much more flexible when it comes to typecasting. She could have BBC roles doing something completely different.

Well, when it stops being true, I'll stop mentioning it.
And Upton isn't fat. She's just oddly shaped. Her hips kind of remind me of The Diva from 5th Element.
Looking at her IMDB page, Maisie will be starring alongside Jessica Beil and Jason Sudeikis in a movie next year. The BBC has also been employing a lot of GoT actors in their series. I think she'll be fine.
