Absolutely. Don's a dick. And he's fricked up plenty this season. But they're going to find out in his couple months off that even a shitty Don Draper is better than no Don Draper at all.
But especially those two. And the shite that's been put up with out of them and others at the firm.
ETA: The more I process it, the more pissed I'm getting.

We haven't seen him actually blow an entire account other than the Hershey one that it was established probably wasn't going to lead to any business what-so-ever. I'm a little unsettled by it to be honest.
I agree. It's not like he pissed his pants during a meeting.
I think it was kind of out of the blue. I'm actually a little disappointed in the writing.

He blew Jaguar but I know he helped land GM
I can't wait to see Dons wrath in the next season

This season has more twists and turns than any season in recent memory - one of the bests IMHO

Every single move that has been made to put that collection of people into that room has been made by Don.
It is nuts that Weiner can spend an entire season showing us Don at his basest levels, and has gotten even his hardest supporters to basically turn on him, then in 15 minutes of the finale, he flipped the script and has me back in his corner.

I mean, fricking Pete is going to California?
Where and who decided that move?

Here's to Season 7 seeing the birth of Draper, Kinsey, and Romano.

Pete is going to Cali - I must've missed that part- I'll get over it - maybe he can learn to drive a stick while he's over there

I thought it was great writing. As Cripple said, it takes Don to the shittest levels and makes you completely begin to loathe him then next thing you know you're rooting for him to take it to all their asses.
So Ted and Pete are definitely headed to California. I'm assuming Stan ends up out there in some shape or form and Harry is already out there.
As said, would love to see some of the old players come into play with Don heading it all up.

And didn't Kinsey go to LA to do Star Trek stuff? Not sure how they would pull it off, but he's in the right city.
No idea if Don still wants to go to California, though.

This.
Don is Darth Vader. He puts off this exterior of selfishness and ruthlessness, but deep down he's never fully succumbed to the dark side. He wants to be good, he just doesn't know how and still be Don Draper.
Don got rid of Jaguar because he was disgusted by them, and rightfully so. He was even more disgusted that the other partners allowed Joan to sleep with the a-hole for the account.
He tanked Hershey for Ted because he knew Ted needed it more than him. Hell, he covered up the whole affair with Ted and Peggy.
He covered for Roger time and time again. The decision to combine the firms made Cooper a butt load of money.
Don does not strike me as the type of character who will "learn from his mistakes and come groveling back." If he comes back, it will be because they beg him. More than likely, he'll go Don Draper and make then sorely regret what they've done.
Really liked seeing him take his kids to his home. Don may finally be on the path to finding peace in his personal life.

It was refreshing. We've been waiting for him to hit rock bottom. Between jail, being put on "vacation" by the firm, and Megan basically telling him she's leaving him it all finally culminated in this episode. And you couldn't help but feel he was fricked.
You think you know Don and what Don is going to do then he goes and does something to surprise you.

Didn't surprise me coming from Joan. She's always been the biggest count on the show.
Roger OTOH surprised me, but those two have had spats before.

Great work great season. They have been building up to the last scene since the burglar episode when Sally stated she did not know anything about Don's past.

What a great ride this season was.
Next year looks like it will be Don/Dick rising from the ashes. Don Draper dies and Dick Whitman lives.

That was the best line of the show for me. Followed closely by "She's with dad...in the water."

Great finale highlighted by Don's epiphany. Cosgrove is the only person that I hope somehow ends up being part of whatever Don creates, and maybe the funny Jewish guy too.
Reuniting with Ramano wouldn't be bad either.

Variety with their Season Finale and Recap. Thought it was interesting about some of the things they said regarding where characters might go next season.

frick Joan and Roger
I hope Don and Pete end up running the new agency. But OTOH, is it a sure thing he even starts a new one? So many different places they can go with this.
