Season 2, the merger with the Brits.

THe meeting where Duck takes over and then loses his temper. We don't see him after that. Did they fire him?

I can handle it. I'm not watching the show for the shock value of plot twists.

Duck tried to BOOM Don, Don flops it on the table and said I'm leaving if he's the Pres., the Brits ask Duck to leave the room. After he leaves the room they said something like "Well, he always was a drunk" or something like that.

Either they fired him to keep Don or he was so embarrassed that he just never came back. It wasn't 100% clear, but he gone. Duck was just there to facilitate the merger for them and then they were going to let him be their puppet and ears in NYC.

But their end-game was to get the agency that had Don Mf'ing Draper.

Should've made that more clear. I'm several episodes past that one but I was wondering what happened to him and why a Brit was running the show on the scene when he was supposed to be the president.

They sent Lane Pryce (I'm assuming that is who you mean?) to be in charge of the money so that he could be their eyes and ears in Sterling Cooper. Duck was going to be their guy on the inside but he messed that up when he went toe to toe with Don and got run out.

The highlight of a career. You become president of a huge NY Ad Agency and on the first day, you run yourself out of the job.
