I have all the volumes and vol. 3 is really no different from 1 & 2 as far as "adult" content is concerned. My neices are 7 and 10 and they love all of them.

wonder why they have a warning on the third one but not the first two if the content is about the same?
The concerned Left must have perceived a bit more violence in that third set and acted to protect our children's tender psyches.

People are so fricking sensitive these days when it comes to Looney Tunes. You know what cartoons these days lack: violence. No longer do you see someone get hit by a train, an anvil, or shot in the face. Gone are the glory days of Looney Tunes and the Renaissance of the 90s. The more violent a cartoon was, it usually means the better it is. Batman and Looney Tunes are two of the most violent cartoons of all time, but they are both widely regarded to be the best.

Anything in Looney Tunes should be fine for a 7 year old to see. The worst Looney Tunes (like Coal Black and De Sebben Dwarves) go well over kids heads.

About everything......it's pretty retarded folks have to go on the black market(no pun intended) to get a copy of Song of the South.

I have all 6 of the Looney Tunes Collections, and there is nothing remotely close to offensive in them.

I bought them because I wanted my girls to have a chance to watch some great cartoons like I did growing up rather than just the crap they put on TV today. I despise most modern cartoons.

6 is the last one btw, even though there are still some great cartoons left in the vault.

Also, I have always thought it was stupid the Disney won't release Song of the South on DVD/BD in the U.S. when you can get it in Europe. Unfortunately their PAL system isn't compatible. I have watched the bootleg a couple of times.

That sucks....

With Cartoon Network and even Boomerang kinda leaving them behind, it would be nice if an nearly exhaustive compilation was available.....

I guess they don't want to blow their wad all at once, and release more later....

I really wish they would release every Looney Tunes ever made and just put a $500 price tag on it. People would pay it, especially people who have kids and want to make sure their kids know the joy of Looney Tunes like we all did growing up.

Yep. That's why they don't put it on TV--people will pay more if the only way to get it is on DVD. And they split the classics up over 6 sets because they know people will buy all 6.
