Ive seen this show recommended by several folks here but after 6 episodes I don't see the appeal. It's extremely predictable and poorly written. The acting is sub par and often kind of corny.
How does this little town in Wyoming have so many murders? Does it get better or should I just stop now?

holy shite dude ...It's a flippin TV show.. That's like questioning Hart of Dixie on how in the hell are there so many pretty people in a podunk south Alabama town.
If you don't like don't watch it and find something else.

Stays pretty much the same throughout (I haven't seen the new season). I enjoy it for what it is. It is a show you don't have to pay to much attention too and can put on before going to bed.

How does it compare to Cabot Cove, Maine? There was a murder a week in that tiny seaside town. Thank God for Jessica Fletcher.

Agree. Made it to about 4 episodes and thought, "crap".

I enjoyed the first season, but I do think it improves a good bit in sn 3 and 4. But yea, its mystery of the week type show. It is what it is.

One might wonder why no murders ever had the gumption to take out the sweet little old lady living at 698 Candlewood Lane. She was sure to solve whatever crime was placed in front of her so the obvious solution for any criminal wanting to escape would be to kill the world famous mystery writer/amateur sleuth. However, this was an impossible task for Jessica Fletcher was the human corporeal form of Death. Most of her reaping occurred in her favorite Cabot Cove, that much is true, but wherever she went murder most foul followed.
