I recall some talk about this before it came out but did anyone ever watch it? I've been thinking about watching it and just read that is was shot twice a night as it is filmed as a single take.

I was disappointed in it. It was like the writer/director had an style he wanted to experiment with but the story wasnt there. The drama was not compelling.

That's what I was wondering. If it's just the single take of tom hardy driving and dealing with a tough business/family decision, I can respect it but I'm not sure I want to watch it.

Pretty spot on. Acted really well by Hardy, but I never was really drawn in by the drama of the story.

I saw some of this in the background.. looked like a bunch of talking while driving the entire time. at least every time I looked up while the movie was playing.
Have you heard of a movie called, Cold in July (2014)

Im ok with movies where people sit and talk. I just have to care. Theres a movie called The Sunset Limited, in which Tommy Lee Jones and Sam Jackson discuss god. Pretty good flick if i remember.
