Lilyhammer Season 4 Not Looking to Good

For fans of Lilyhammer, it is not looking too good for a Season 4. Below is a quote from an good article written on the show. Be warned, if you have not seen the show, and you should, the article will contain spoilers. LINK
quote:
Declining ratings, a lukewarm critical reception and a conflict between Netflix and Norway’s state broadcaster NRK have all conspired to place a question mark over Lilyhammer’s future. The latter factor here is perhaps the most critical. NRK - the station that co-created the show and broadcasts it on terrestrial television in Norway - upset Netflix when it made every single episode of the show’s third season available online, all at once, before the season had finished airing on TV, and, crucially, before Netflix Norway had released the episodes on its own service. Netflix funds most of the show’s production costs, and so felt understandably short-changed by NRK, and angry that a mockery had been made of the pre-agreed distribution deal. As a consequence, the streaming giant has been stubbornly silent on the subject of forking out filthy lucre for a fourth season of Lilyhammer. At the time of writing, it looks very much like the entire project is dead in the fjord.

Wow, I expected better from Norwegians. To frick them over like that (even in such a small market) is messed up.

I binged watched 3 seasons in December. Liked it a lot
I guess the Norwegian TV execs are as dumb as the Norwegian mobsters

Wow, if this happened in America, there would be all out war. And this kind of sucks, I like the show. It's hilarious.

IMO the show got worse as it went on. I think the first season was the best when he was new to Norway and they were new to his style. After they all adjusted it started getting more stale. Also I can't stand having to read subtitles constantly lol I'm lazy

I quit shortly into Season 2. I don't know what y'all see in this show.

It's more funny than it is convincing to me. Steven Van Zandt is a fan favorite from The Sopranos. It also offers you a ganster movie/series fix...a Norwegian one. Not something you see everyday. So I think that is why some people like the show. Like I said, it works much better as a comedy than as a drama.

I thought the show was cheesy and corny much of the time but, I liked it anyway.

How fricking dumb were the morons who made that decision and do they still have jobs?

I liked it enough to keep up with it. Seeing Paulie from The Sopranos as a priest was pretty funny.
Jan played the piece of shite role nicely. Had the perfect creepy arse laugh too.
the most recent episode kind of left me wondering if there was going to be another one anyway
a lot of forks in the road really. Just my opinion.
