I'm watching an episode of the 1960s TV series 12 O'clock High, based on the famous movie w/ Gregory Peck
In this episode the General must call in to the base with info that will save hundreds of airmen's lives... But he's being held prisoner by a downed German pilot. Will the General be able to contact the base in time? Pretty tense and suspenseful so far, with the great character actor Fritz Weaver as the German pilot.

The Killing (1956 Kubrick, Sterling Hayden, not that tv show). I've never seen it all the way through and have always wanted to finish it...Crime Noir at it's best.
