would be interesting as i think something similar happened in the EU. Thoughts?
Personally I just hope they don't take the easy way out with the story. I hope kylo remains uncertain in our eyes until the end.

To paraphrase Gus Mcrae in Lonesome Dove: A man that will go along with killing a ton of jedi apprentices, massacring an entire village, and killing their father is taking his leave of the dark side awful slow.

No redemption arc for Kylo Ren. I don't want to see that. He closed out his light side urges by killing Han and I want him to be dark side till the end.

Vader killed Obi Wan and the Emporer in the OT. Those were is big onscreen kills. The choking of the guy and at the start of ANH is ambiguous and his death isn't even clear. In a New Hope he takes out several Y wings and X wings but those are battle kills not involving cruelty or killing the innocent and helpless. He kills an Imperial officer with a choke in Empire.
The OT makes Vader's redemption arc OK based on just those three movies.
In TFA, we have already scene Kylo Ren order the deaths of everyone in a village for no good reason and he killed Han Solo.

I think it will be revealed that kylo Ren already saved Rey (not her real name) from the Knights of Ren and snore when she was a little girl.

With regard to this, I hope that maybe in one of the stand alone/spin offs that they are apparently planning, they delve a bit into some of the perhaps necessary but maybe less savory things the Resistance has to do in warfare. Things akin to firebombing cities (or continents maybe in this context), questioning civilian villages suspected of harboring and aiding First Order troops, maybe waterboarding, etc.
To be honest, I'm not sure how that would really play. Star Wars is pretty much literally black and white - good and bad, light and darkness. But if well done and not done overboard it might be worth a watch.

This will be in battle though. Snoke's gonna be killing Rey with force lightning and Rylo Ken is gonna stop him but be mortally wounded in the process.
