Yeah, the fat lady and the friend's daughter suddenly remember the name "Robert" all of a sudden. It never came up before, right? Right?

New episode on tonight. I thought last week was the last episode but looks like they've filmed another.

Everything about this case and this show is bad. It's like they watched S1 of True Detective and tried to capitalize. How they spoke to Roadie and thought it was a good idea to base a show around him is incredible.

With that said, there is a certain comedic factor to watching these clowns try to figure this out so I guess that is worth something.

I looked up the production company for this show. Explains a lot: Sirens Media.

So many of these reality shows are produced by the same people that it almost doesn't matter what network the shows are on or what the quality of the original story was.

Just look at how much airtime they use with slow camera pans and personal lives outside of the investigation. I wonder how the people in the show feel about the way they're being presented.

On tonight's show they did actually interview a witness who came in after seeing earlier episodes, so maybe something comes out of it. But the producers draw it out so much and make it look like the investigators just now had the idea to send DNA evidence out to a crime lab.

Haven't read the thread I'm on episode 4 but my god Rodie is the worst detective I've ever seen. Everything they're doing now should have been done in 1997.

Speaking from experience, he isn't the only one that isn't worth a shite up there. But yes, he is God awful.

They took down the flyer' s 5 goddamn times and they never thought to stake that out until 17 years later? They never checked any registered sex offenders? They cleared the ex from one phone call?

They certainly are likeable people.
I'm not convinced that you get the best for 40K in Iberville, however.
