I didn't know he even told such a story.

I know we have some The League fans here, sorry if Germans.

I wonder if these people also get mad at every comedian that says "so the other day I was doing....." We all know that they were doing that 5 years ago when they wrote joke and the weren't really doing it the other day. fricking liars.

It's a comedy routine, who cares if it's fiction.

Never disappoints. His joke about the worst thing involving a plane in his life being soul plane made me piss myself.

well this isn't exactly a comedy routine.....

Just a guy being a douche to sound more of a part of something. Should he fired from his BWW gig? Nah.

No kidding. People do and say the dumbest things at times. This was too easily verifiable to put on the public record.

FYI, don't wear military medals you never earned either. People tend to frown on such acts.

Rannazzisi has repeatedly told interviewers a story about fleeing the World Trade Center just before the second plane hit—a story that is completely untrue.

ah, oh well. Either way, I imagine more people know who he is now than before he was outed as a liar, so I seriously doubt that he was getting any plum jobs because of his story.

What's really weird is that he isn't the first or last to lie about something like that

Been a few debunked 9/11 stories for people using it to climb the latter.

Problem is you cant be Don Draper these days. Information is everywhere

Story like that attracts attention, good PR, and fans that feel close to you because they think you went through something tramatic during a huge crisis in this country that most lived through.

He didn't tell people that story because he thought it was funny. There was value in having a story like that.
