It got panned at SXSW. Key and Peele even told the audience prior to the viewing that it was a work in progress.

Is the cat's name a John Wick reference? Because that's pretty much what the plot reminds me of. I tend to like Key and Peele, so I'm cautiously optimistic. I don't know how that style really expands to a feature length film, though. Feels like it would be hard to keep the jokes fresh.

Based on their previous work, it'll have spots of absolute brilliance, and then 3-4 scenes that drag on wayyy too long trying to drive home a weak joke

That is my fervent hope...that John Wick/Johnny Utah/Neo/Ted Theodore Logan is the main bad guy at the end.
