Justified Finale

I have been holding off finishing Season 6 for over a year now...I finally broke down and finished it last night. I have to say that I loved that series, and thought the finale was very well done. "We dug coal together"...what a perfect way to end it...just as it began.

It is the greatest finale of any tv series. Cheers is its only competition IMO. Seriously, Justified is THE perfect show from beginning to end, and it's a shame it doesn't have the larger following that it deserves

justified got kind of muddled in the middle but ended very well
if they had compressed the final 4 seasons into 2-2.5 it could have approached GOAT status
season 2 is so fricking good
3-5 had some solid plots but had a bit too much shite and got skilly and stretched

Yep awesome show. I binge watched the entire series in about 2 weeks. I can see how seasons 4-5 were a bit much at certain points, but it wasn't as noticeable for me because I watched in in such a condensed time frame. The few episodes that sucked were quickly forgotten.

I'd put M*A*S*H* up in there too with finales. Of course they had PLENTY of time to get their finale together back before cable/satellite, 3 major networks only with WGN and WTBS still local only. As well as having like 3-4 years "notice" the end was coming based on everything, ratings, contracts, writing, pretty much anything relating to the show was really aging.

I heard that song back when it was first released in 1997, and immediately bought the album (Aloha From Nashville). Darrell Scott is one hell of a songwriter, and it is an awesome album. I can't think of any song that fits a show better that it does. I love how they would play it (sometimes the different cover versions) for each season finale.

I wished they would have played it while the final exchange between Raylan and Boyd was happening. What a phenomenal show, I truly miss it.

Raylan and Boyd was awesome.
That last scene was tough, 2 old friend parting ways.
Just watched Hateful 8 and loved Boyd in that.

Its really an incredible show.
And far superior to the books.
