All of you DC fanboys gushing over this trailer and putting down Marvel is fricking hilarious. You know goddamn well this is gonna suck. Affleck has been trying to distance himself from the Warner Bros./DC trainwreck for the last 2 months, because he already knows "Justice League" is garbage.
I thought the trailer looked kind of silly. Maybe that means the movie will actually be good this time.

Gal gadot continues to impress me as Wonder Woman. The rest of that trailer is a whole lot of meh. I know it has no affect on the movie but that song choice is terrible

frick Snyder.
He makes one hell of a trailer.
I'm roped in again. Looks like a lighter tone. Maybe the movie will be more fun than the last 2. The characters look good. At least flash has some color and not a gray scale suit.
But I know. Deep down. I know it's still Snyder.
frick.

That technically isn't an important scene and maybe more cringe worthy, but man... Luthor intimidating people in the past is so much more than that bullshite. I mean what's more intimidating: Luthor granting an interview while he benches 750 pounds, or feeding a 2 cent piece of candy to someone. Which one says "Don't frick with me"?
I never read comic books, so take the following for what it's worth:
Whatever they were trying to do, it sucked. Honestly, every villain in the DCEU has sucked so far.
I don't think Marvel has had great villains either, but at least they haven't actively made their scenes hard to watch (for the most part).

And then they add Spider-Man and have an Infinity War?
They don't have to copy Marvel, but they should have set up their universe competently.
Marvel didn't make Iron Man and then head straight for the Avengers because it would have been shite.

Cyborg looks like shite. Barry Allen should be blonde.
Good scenes, hopefully they aren't the only good ones.

Why they chose to include Cyborg I'll never know
They needed a black guy

But I know. Deep down. I know it's still Snyder.
It's going to be dark and put visuals ahead of story.
The musical score will be heavy and ominous.
Some of the costumes will piss you off.
There will be at least one character from the comics that will act amazingly opposite of their usual manner.
But some of the visuals will border on iconic.
The ominous tone will make even some of mildest jokes funnier.
The character costumes that do work, work phenomenally.
The actors' screen presence makes up for any lack of talent.
It's not going to be a film masterpiece like Logan or Dark Knight.
It's not going to be a crisp, pop formula Marvel Studios movie.
It's going to be a moody, long-from music video of a Zack Snyder movie.
If you've never enjoyed a Zack Snyder movie, there's no way you'll like this one.
But if you can enjoy it for what it is, and not walk in lamenting what it isn't, you might find it to be a decent movie experience.

That's exactly what they did.
Five Marvel Studios films, then Avengers.
Four DCEU films, then Justice League.

The only good thing out of that trailer is Bruce Wayne admitting Batman has no real superhuman abilities and is just a rich guy

He stayed pretty close to the source material (yea, yea, I know about leaving off the aliens and the pirate ship story) and delivered, imo.
Rorschach was one of the best portrayed comic characters.

It's not remotely the same. If Aquaman, the Flash, Batman, and Wonder Woman had their own solo films, then you would have a point.

He's always seemed like a cliched add-on, even when he was created for the New Teen Titans.
He fit pretty well into Wolfman's team (not sure if that's what you were referring to). His runs in the Justice League have felt shoe-horned (except for the latest iteration).

Looks like a huge disjointed mess. With that being said, I'll be throwing my money at them.

I just want to tack this on. The majority of the regulars for the comic book movie threads generally just want loyal representation of their characters on the big screen. As these characters have had reboots and relaunches, what the correct portrayal of them is often debated.
I almost never see anyone who hates a DC movie for being about DC characters or a Marvel movie for being about Marvel characters. Most of DC's hate is actually for Zack Snyder and most of Marvel's hate is for becoming too formulaic.
Both sides have valid points. I think some of the people who trash the DC movies on here are actually bigger DC fans than the majority of posters. They get the maddest because they care so much for how these characters are presented.

Pretty much. I'm not expecting The Godfather but it looks like it will give the movie theater sound system a nice workout and will be at least entertaining enough.

I doubt Snyder is looking at the Golden Age comics. Everything he shows is based off the Modern Age and he does fairly well most of the time, but then disregards some character personalities entirely in others.

All the nitpicking of DCEU movies really comes down to the fact that none of their movies have been particularly enjoyable to watch for most people. You can lift scenes and lines from each and compare and contrast them with the MCU movies, but in the end people will forgive these little missteps if the overall movie was enjoyable.
I hate Man of Steel, so every one of it's idiocies is magnified in my mind. BvS wasn't a good movie, but it was still kinda fun to watch once so it's issues don't bother me as much. I loved Civil War, so the stupid parts of it just melt away for me.
If Justice League is fun to watch, people will respond. I think most people really want to like the movies, Synder and co just need to step up to the plate. I'm keeping my expectations very low, but if it gets some good word of mouth I'll go see it on the second weekend.

And if it had been, you'd be bitching about DC's lack of originality. Look...there is more than one way to build a cinematic universe. DC's problem is not that they rushed it, DC's problem is that they hired Zack Snyder to lead it.

You really need a Batman film after Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad? We haven't seen enough of Bruce Wayne? Having Wonder Woman open five months before Justice League is that big of a problem?
Cyborg is the only real "unknown" to the public. About as unknown as Hawkeye was prior to the Avengers movie. Other than that... The public doesn't know what Aquaman does? What the Flash does?
How did Fox manage a 17 year superhero franchise by putting out movie after movie packed with superheroes who never had a solo film? How did we put up with Ocean's 11 when they never gave us 11 solo films to launch from?
DC (Prior to Justice League)
Superman: 1 Solo Film, 1 Shared Film
Batman: 1 Shared Film (top billing), 1 appearance in 2nd Film
Wonder Woman: 1 Solo Film, Featured Heavily in 2nd Film
Flash: 2 Cameos
Aquaman: 1 Cameo
Cyborg: 1 Cameo
(This is assuming that there are no other Justice League members appearing in Wonder Woman.)
Marvel (prior to Avengers):
Iron Man: 2 Solo Films
Hulk: 1 Solo Film
Captain America: 1 Solo Film
Thor: 1 Solo Film
Black Widow: 1 Appearance
Hawkeye: 1 Cameo
