Seriously..

I made the mistake of eating while watching this episode. Seriously..what the frick. That was the only episode throughout the series (so far) that had me waiting for it to end.

That came after the brilliance of the previous two episodes, too

It was definitely different. I think I read where it wasn't shown on TV (idk?).

I wasn't expecting that shite

Yeah I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I watched it a lot with my dad back in the day, but forgot nearly all of it. It's definitely a good trip down memory lane and a fun ride at the same time.

I believe it was shown once. I don't remember if Fox pulled it initially and then caved later or if they showed it once and people were pissed so they never showed it again. It was never played in syndication though.

It was the first episode to receive a TV-MA rating.

Our Town & Irresistible creep me out more.

I've seen 1 episode of The X Files, and it was YEARS ago. I never watched again because it creeped me out so much(I was really young). Pretty much the only thing I remember vividly is someone sorta "digging in" like a baseball pitcher in some dirst and a baby's face emerges. Was it this episode? Not a good way to start my X Files watching career

No. It is the one often quoted as the most disturbing episode of the X-Files.

This is the one I'm talking about

You should give it a shot. The rest of the series is NOTHING like this episode

Once on FOX. It's aired in syndication, at least on FX.

If you really want to be freaked out, its partially based on a true story from Charlie Chaplin's memoirs.
