Thoughts?
I went into it knowing nothing. I guess I didn't realize how heavy/deep it was going to be. Great movie on many levels.

The chemistry between Williams and Damon was palpable - like they had worked together for years. A good bit of that was unscripted and they just let Williams do his thing and Damon react.
I'm not a huge Van Sant fan, but if you watch this film and Drugstore Cowboy, you'll see why actors love him.

One of my favorite movies of all time. And the soundtrack is great.

You're right the chemistry was incredible. Robin Williams was phenomenal.

That guy, Clark?
was played by Scott William Winters. Has been in almost every hour long television series in guest spots since 2000, but that's probably not why you think he looks familiar.
He looks familiar, because his IRL brother is Mayhem (Dean Winters):

Minnie Driver is my dream wife. Something about a pale brunette with a slight overbite.

I thought it was a silly ripoff of Flowers for Algernon, and I hate movies that need shrink scenes to get out all the plot dialogue

Robin Williams at his best. Speech on the park bench gives me goosebumps the size of grapes.
Oh yeah and "If you ever disrespect my wife again, I will end you. I will fricking end you. You got that chief?"

The Winters brothers were both in the show Oz on HBO.

All the fun roles Dean Winters has done in his life, and he's most known for a commercial series ha.

He'll always be Dennis Duffy to me.
