It's the movie that convinced me that Snyder not only hates Batman and Superman but hates movies as a whole.

I don't see how an EE could really help it. Eisenberg really one upped Kate Bosworth as worst casting choice ever in a comic book film. He would have made for a fine Riddler, but his character was nothing like Luthor aside from being rich. His plan makes no sense.

I feel sorry for you. No one should ever be subjected to that garbage movie.

How much did you love the scene when Batman spends the entire movie searching for and making the spear and then decides to just throw it away. Not save it. Not store it. Not keep it. Not destroy it. No. Just toss it aside for anyone to find.

And completely then forgets it exists.

Or How Lex got Zods ship and body and both Batman and Superman knew about both of those things and never did a single thing to stop him? Like..... Why the frick did Superman allow the ship to stay there and Lex to just do whatever he wanted with it?

Oh, and also this:

The ninja turtle villain:

I saw part of it recently and it was cringeworthy. I wanted to give it another chance and check out the EE, but I'm not sure.

It was worse than I remember. I thought I would grow fond of it, distancing myself from that first viewing, but no. I'm hesitant to say it, but it's garbage.

It just can't be that bad can it? There's no way. Batman, Superman. Lex. But look at it. So frustrating.

Or that Lex Luthor arms terrorists with his own prototype bullets at the very start of the movie that can be directly traced back to him, and then blames Superman for killing these people by shooting them with said bullets. Lex should have been arrested in the first 10 minutes of the movie for how stupid his plan was, nevertheless the dozens of other stupid errors he makes, like arming a guy with an explosive wheelchair that can also directly be traced back to him.

I'm starting to think, at this point, people are just trying to outdo each other with the criticisms. The movie was not that good, and we all did expect better, but goddamn. Such dramatic hate.

I completely forgot how retarded that was.

Why is it that Superman can fly from America to the middle east in under a second, or from wherever he is in the world to whereever Lois is in trouble in a split second, but any other time he needs to accomplish a goal or anytime he's fighting he's suddenly not fast enough?

Why couldn't he have frozen that bomb the second it started to go off.

Or right when he heard the explosion grab it and fly out the building?

I mean he can fly to the middle east in half a second certainly he can grab a a bomb and minimize the damage.

Of course, Snyder's philosophy of frick the plot we just go pew pew boom boom scene wouldn't have been as cool

It's a bad movie. It deserves the criticism.

It's been a game of who can outdo each other with the worst review since it came out. It's not just one thread saying how awful it was- but every time someone has the audacity to think it was ok the usual suspects show up. They are the Movie Justice Warriors.

My favorite scene is when the guy that Batfleck brands gets shanked in prison. Reminds me of this.

I was laughing so hard my wife woke up and asked me what the frick was going on.

Yeah, if he could recognize Lois' screams from that far away, surely he could recognize his own mother's as well when Luthor kidnaps her.

I think more the issue is wouldn't Superman have seen it the second he enters the courthouse? Even if it was lined with lead, surely Superman would have been immediately suspicious of that.

He really thinks nothing through that isn't directly shown on the screen. There's no way he fathomed the death toll that Superman was directly/indirectly responsible for in Man of Steel. I said this from the very start of the casting, but Zod was a very poor choice as the first villain to face Superman. He have would be directly responsible for Zod's presence. And then hundreds of thousands are killed by Zod's actions, but Superman starts making out with Lois Lane on top of the charred rubble and then taunts the US Military by destroying their probe and says that he's effectively holding the world hostage to his own "goodwill".

And then when the fans pointed all this out for him, he becomes entirely reactionary towards it and clearly doesn't get what we were bitching about in the first place. When you think about it, all he tried to do with "Man of Steel" is to become the complete antithesis to "Superman Returns". Well, he succeeded in that, but didn't think anything through besides making it the opposite of the complaints. Snyder's vision of Superman makes Singer's look magnificent in comparison.
