Just saw "Battleship"

I was kinda expecting a "Starship Troopers" vibe so I wasn't disappointed. A Velveeta fest for sure, but the extra cheddar surprised me-

The munitions used by the Aliens made no sense to me until at end credits it read "based on the game by Hasbro"

Saw the movie in theaters and never noticed they were pegs lol. The first thing I said to my girl after seeing it was how terrible of an actor Rihanna is. Holy shite.

i thought it was pretty fun.. im not going to see Battleship for the great acting..

Well, to be honest, it's not like she had some excellent performance defining her suckdom by contrast. Even Liam Neeson came across as stale.

It wasn't as bad as some people said but not nearly close to being a "Transformers" type of good popcorn flick either

No it wasn't. It was really disappointing because it was Peter Berg, too. It felt like one day he was running on a treadmill and thinking about all his favorite parts from Independence Day, Pearl Harbor and Transformers, it got him super krunk...so he just meshed all of it and said "frick it, we got a movie!"
