Episode 3 at least had this scene: The Opera House Scene

But 2 is by far the worse. It doesn't have a single redeeming factor beside Padme in a sexy dominatrix outfit.

The SFX somehow aged worse in 20 years than the originals did in 45 years

Best dress for her in the series.

The biggest wasted character in Star Wars was neeson's.

Should have at least been a force ghost.

I also rewatched then recently for the first time since they were in theaters. I thought Phantom Menace was easily the worst of the three, and Revenge of the Sith was the best.

Neeson shouldn't have even been in it. Having Neeson go after Anakin instead of Obi Wan just ruins Anakin and Obi Wan's so-called "good friendship" from the start. It should have just been Obi Wan finding Anakin and he'd be about Luke's age, not a 10 year old.

Phantom Menace at least has the podrace, which was pretty fricking cool.

There's nothing going on in Clones that isn't just awful. As said, the only good thing about it was Natalie Portman being eye candy.

If The Phantom Menace (minus the kid Anakin stuff) were just a side story in the Star Wars universe, it would be pretty cool As the first part of the Skywalker saga, I didn't need to see Anakin as a kid.

I liked and still like Revenge of the Sith best of the prequels.

Jar Jar

Is actually the most powerful Sith Master who has ever existed.

He is Palpatine's master and he is the one who corrupts Anikan.

Read up on that theory is pretty much 100% true. I can't wait for Jar Jar to be Snoke.

That's because everything in the prequels was cgi. Most shite in the originals was set, costumes, and puppets.

Sorry, but the phantom menace has the high ground.

It’s easily the worst because it about single handily ruined Darth Vader, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

At least the kid can fall back on being a kid for being a whiny bitch.

RotS is really bad, people just give it a bit of a pass because the first two were even worse.

AotC specifically is just god awful

Am I the only one who like the face off between Jango and Obi Wan on Kamino on the platform?

2 is the worst. I only really liked the score, the shots of Coruscant and the big Jedi battle at the end. Episode 2 has awful dialogue, the atrocious love story subplot, and the worst light saber duel in the saga.

1 really is underrated. It's small scale compared to the other films in the saga, but the dialogue isn't terrible. The only thing I really don't like about it is Jake Lloyd blowing up the Federation control ship. Anakin should have been older in Episode 1, then if they want him to blow up the control ship that's fine. Jar Jar doesn't bother me that much.

Episode 3 is the best though. Anakin vs Dooku at the beginning is probably the best or second best duel in the PT and a lot of things actually happen that's relevant to the original trilogy. It does carry over the bad dialogue and wooden line delivery from Episode 2 though.

It's not as bad as Episode II but come on:

quote:

Anakin Skywalker: Are you an angel?
Queen Amidala: What?
Anakin Skywalker: An angel. I've heard the deep space pilots talk about them. They're the most beautiful creatures in the universe. They live on the moon of Iego, I think.
Queen Amidala: You're a funny little boy. How do you know so much?
Anakin Skywalker: I listen to all the traders and star pilots who came through here. I'm a pilot, you know, and someday I'm going to fly away from this place.
Queen Amidala: You're a pilot?
Anakin Skywalker: Mmhm. All my life.
Queen Amidala: How long have you been here?
Anakin Skywalker: Since I was very little, three, I think. My Mom and I were sold to Gardola the Hutt, but he lost us betting on the pod races.
Queen Amidala: You're a slave?
Anakin Skywalker: I'm a person and my name is Anakin.

I've posted this on here before, but Phantom Menace was clearly written to have Anakin be about 16 or so. If he had been, the movie would have actually made some sense and been a much better final product. But Lucas must have realized just before filming that casting a 6-year-old would make it much more marketable to kids. However, he didn't bother to have the script rewritten at all. He just made a movie with a 6-year-old playing a teenage part and hoped no one would notice, I guess.
