I saw it tonight. Unlike most people here, I didn't get to see it when it was in theaters in 1993. The most I ever saw of it on the big screen was getting a peek at the credits as we were filing out of Rookie of the Year or some bull shite that we decided to see that day.
So needless to say, special moment for me today. It wasn't so much about the 3D, although it was pretty awesome. The T-Rex breakout scene is just so much more powerful when it's lifesize right there in front of you. I noticed several things that I hadn't ever noticed before despite seeing the film so many times. Things derailed around the Raptors in the Kitchen scene when some man children decided to play musical chairs next to me with all of the grace of the Incredible Hulk inside a crystalline antique store (I don't mind changing seats, I do mind not even trying to avoid disturbing others). But, overall a pleasing experience.
