Joker and Harley Quinn Movie Moving Forward at Warner Bros. with ‘Focus’ Directors

Meanwhile, better characters like Dick Grayson, John Stewart, J'on Jonzz, Kord are still waiting....
DC has so many underrated characters because they can't get off of Bruce and Joker's jock.
For all the folks that often think I'm too hard on DC, this is really the core reason.
The Joker is now, generally, boring. We've seen him way too many times, and Hamill and Ledger put massive stamps on the character
Heck I'd probably add Wally, Queen, Jordan, Raynor, and a bunch of others.

So . . . let me get this right,
We will have DCEU films with some characters and then non-DCEU films with the same characters being played by different people?
What's next, we see Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum back as Clark and Lex in their own Smallville movie?

It was so stupid for them to start Batman out 20 years into his career. That's 20 years worth of setup for his character and other characters which they could have explored but now it's pointless.

We've had fifty of these "Warner is going to hire writers for" stories over the past decade. Out of all of those, we ended up with half a dozen actual movies that went into production. We've heard everything from Blue Beetle/Booster Gold to Superboy/Supergirl.
I'll be pleasantly shocked if either of these Joker movies make it out of the planning process and to the screen.
