Well that saddens me. He reminded me of my grandfather in many ways. I always enjoyed when he was on the show. Stinks he won't be around anymore.

He seemed like a good guy.

I hope I'm stirring around like that dude when I'm in my 90's.

He was one kick arse dude. I saw him in Haines a few times and in Juneau once.

He was definitely one of the best parts of the show. He seemed like a great man who truly appreciated each moment he had left.

Seemed like a cool old dude. 96 and still all his marbles? Awesome.

Cool old guy who seemed to have lived a great life. Glad he got to see his grandson succeed before he passed.

He definitely seemed like a humble and gracious person. Always amazed me that he had such a rotten prick for a grandson.

He was full of piss and vinegar in his younger days.

I always thought the same. Parker is a giant douchebag. I was rooting against him all season. Even though that meant I was rooting against Rick who I like.

I was sorry to hear this, seemed like such a sweet old man..

With his chosen profession that sounds about right. Parker handles people about like a teenager does but I don't think you ever truly see what all goes on behind the scenes so he's probably not a giant toolbag 90pct of the time but obviously what makes the show is when people frick up or when he has to come down on someone.
Every person deals with people a different way and you have Tony and Parker who are more upfront and dickish and you have Hoffman and Dave who are more cordial and adult in their approach.
To be honest, my favorite person on the show left after last season and that was the other old man Dakota Fred. I thought he was awesome even though they tried to paint in a bad light after he claimed Todds original claim but he was an awesome guy from everything I could gather.
