For several weeks they had a comic book Jessica Jones rather than Krysten Ritter as the icon in the NetFlix app for me. I thought that was kind of weird. I guess it could simply be an homage to the comic, but at the time I wondered if it wasn't an attempt to get more people to check it out. It switched back to Ritter a few days ago for me.

This may be difficult but I am looking for an unbiased opinion of this show. Someone who doesn't orgasm for every comic book show released preferably.
I gotten through episode 1 and part of episode 2 and I really cannot stand how purposefully whiny and "bitchy" Ritter is to everyone around her. It seems like she is this way in all her shows.
Does it get better? Right now I am intrigued by the villain, but that is about it.
Should I keep going?

I thought the pacing was too slow up until about episode 4 and after that it was good. Jessica Jones herself doesn't get any less bitchy, but you get more of the back story helping you understand why she's like that, and her relationship with Luke Cage helps to humanize her some. I'd stick around for the villain alone.

I am not a comic book fan, never read them growing up and don't even know the difference between Marvel and the other ones, to be honest.
I really enjoyed this show. It did take an episode or two to get into but once the villain comes in and starts making appearances, it gets very good. He was GREAT. The last couple of episodes were a bit of a letdown as well but nothing horrible, just felt like they dragged out the ending when it could have been done a couple of episodes earlier.
I recommend sticking it out until the villain takes on a real role.

God willing... they cast Aubrey Plaza as Squirrel Girl and have her show up as a baby sitter.

Yeah I have two episodes left, and she stays whiney but there's a reason behind it. I actually like the other characters on the show, most are pretty interesting.

I for one am not a fan at all of most comic book related movies or shows. But I absolutely was ecstatic about Jessica Jones. I never expected Marvel to allow something so dark and interesting to be attached to their name.
