Quite a few qustions.
She says 24 years ago her cousing left the planet. Yet he was a baby. She was like 10.
On earth, Superman is established, she isn't. Yet she is older? I don't know, have to watch the first few episodes.

I'll watch it. I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to comic book shows but if it shits all over the Superman mythos in any way to a level that I just can't accept, I'll drop it like a hot potato.
The skirt and shirt uniform for Supergirl is pretty uninspiring and kinda impractical and not very respectable. It's better off staying comic books. Here's a general idea what they should go with for her uniform...

She was actually a pre-teen/teen when Krypton exploded. But her ship suffered damage and arrived to earth after Clark had already grown up. Since she was in suspended animation the whole time, she came out of her ship as still being a teen.
