Is there a TV show or movie that you REALLY liked then SUDDENLY didn't?

Like a plot twist or event?

Really only happened to me once, and that was a show that used to come on called Murder One. Man, it was fantastic. Everything was going great. There was sex, drugs, deception, Hollywood, murder, everything. People were sleeping with different characters and then BOOM! One guy has full blown AIDS.

After that episode, I never watched it again. I mean, the plot was basically going to turn into "Who Has AIDS?" thing.

I meant a single event, but that's cool.

Even though I knew it would have a preachy liberal tone throughout, I really enjoyed The Newsroom for the first 1.5 seasons.

I don't think it was even about anything overly-political, but there was one moment during an episode about halfway through the second season where I just turned it off and didn't care to watch again.

Hancock. I thought the movie was great until Charlize Threon's character got more than 30 seconds of screen time.

Mortal Kombat Annihilation. Loved part 1 as a kid...the second Johnny Cage dies the whole thing falls apart.

First half is great.

Then it just goes to total shite in such a bizarre fashion.

Walking Dead lost me at the prison. When the season opened up with Rick as a pacifist I knew it was in trouble. I watched that season and finally could take no more.

Nip Tuck. The first 2 seasons were fantastic. Then they decided to start fricking around and throwing everything at the wall. It became unwatchable.

Once they started with the fulcrum on the Blacklist I hated the show. Literally in the span of 2 episodes

Same, that really was one of the dumbest plot twists ever. The first forty-five minutes or so was so damn good too. Shame.

Not that I can recall, personally, but a former coworker of mine was watching Game of Thrones and stopped cold turkey after Episode 9 of Season 1.
