the Pete and Kevin characters are sooooo unlikable and unfunny. I fast forwarded through every little Pete doing the animal planet voice over stupid scene last week.

Kevin's alright it's mostly Pete that sucks.

Absolutely that was awful. Don't know why they kept repeating the same jokes last week. It's like they spent too much time on the fake Ken Marino fight and threw some shite together for the script.

so many way over the top stupid jokes that take 5 minutes and just arent funny. like the jerking andre in the hoodie scene. i'm sure 11 year olds thought it was awesome.

yea - when did it go from average/quirky guys with a weird friend to just a total mess on all fronts with the characters. i think a bit of its early charm was that the guys were just a bunch of average dudes and now they are all headcases and taco might even qualify as the most normal one.

now you're just making things up.

I would tell you to grow up, but I know only 14 year olds love BMS as much as you do.

This is what I hate the most about the direction this show has gone. They're becoming more cartoonish by the episode. They're exactly what I don't like about Always Sunny. Over the top isn't funny.

I cut this show off after last season. Sounds like it was a good choice. Season 1 was good, Season 2 was meh, Season 3 was terrible. Nothing they do or say is funny, save for Rafi.

They made Taco so dumb that he was the least-funny character in the show.

Rafi is funny

Andre is funny

ruxin is funny

taco is sometimes ok

the arch rivals from high school actually were pretty funny

pete is the worst

kevin is horrible

kevin's wife is terrible

the happy hour scenes at that bar are always horrendous

There was also a thread awhile back where someone was saying how BMS was all recycled crappy jokes and The League was somehow more sophisticated; when in fact their types of jokes are very similar.
FYI I like The League, I just think a lot of people on here declaring it the best show on TV are overrating it

I'm also not 14 and when did I ever say I loved BMS so much? I think it's a funny show but I was never declaring it the best show on TV or saying it's better than Seinfeld

its like they just dont get how to use him.

as someone said earlier - its gotten cartoonish. ive noticed shows doing this more and more as the outlandish shocking stuff got attention suddenly instead of the parody being noteworthy, you have to go the next step and be a parody of the parody and so on.... after a while you lose touch with the real element of it all which is what actually keeps people around long term. most viewers want to see people they can relate to but in more exciting versions or funnier versions of real life. theres just no connection to real life anymore like there was in season one. i think thats part of why people think they miss the fantasy aspect - not because its an awesome storyline but because it helped keep the show grounded.

you dont think its awesome that they get 3 random football player cameos a year and badger them for injury information? Thats just how fantasy football works.
