Season 1 almost felt like a pilot season. Leslie was a completely different character. I honestly didn't like it the first time through, but after watching the whole show and going back I find it hilarious. Seasons 2-6 have that awesome sitcom feel that everyone loves about the show. Season 7 is up and down. I personally felt it was a great way to end a great show. One of the best comedies I've ever watched fully through. I think they did a good job with each character making a new step towards their own futures. All the silly younger characters grow up a lot, and you can see that. Leslie and Ron finally come to terms with each others completely different ideologies and they do it so well.

Short answer, Yes.

Season 1 he was one of the worst characters on television.

He turned into one of the best.

You've gone this far, finish it off. The finale was pretty strong and there are plenty of enjoyable things....Ron and Leslie making up, an episode of Andy's kids show and a lot of celebrity cameos.

S7 drags in spaces, but the finale and "Leslie and Ron" are 2 of the strongest episodes in the series. How one could not just have a shite eating grin on your face for one moment of the finale in particular is beyond me.

You have to get adjusted to all the changes but it's a strong season and strong ending

Billy Ichner ruined the show for me. I couldn't watch it

They should have ended the show with the unity concert episode.

A great example of the "dumb character" done very well.

A great example of an actor who is basically nobody that comes along and does a really great show and now is in EVERYTHING. Way to go Chris Pratt. Everything you touch turns to gold.

Andy wasn't the dumb character. He was the goofball. Jean Ralfio and his sister were the dumb characters.

Well, Andy didn't get lured away from Pawnee to be a professional genius at Google. But he was more goofy and innocent than Jean Ralphio. He was kind of like a Woody Boyd character.
I liked Jean Ralphio, but he seemed like the sort of guy who would get ripped off buying roofies online.

I personally ally didn't care for the Johnny Karate stuff, but other things (Leslie and Rons relationship being #1) more than made up for it. Good show overall.
