A friend suggested (All right, I don't have any friends, Netflix suggested) it. I've heard good things about the show decided to give it a shot. I'm one season in and loving it. Clever material, good twists, hot actresses, all on top of a incredible theme song.

It's great, the guys playing Shawn and Gus have great comedic chemistry.

Probably depends on how old you are.

Moonlighting was pretty damn good.

Remington Steele didn't play the comedy angle as heavily but definitely had its moments. Launched Pierce Brosnan to stardom.

Shawn and Gus' chemistry is perfect. Everyone's delivery on the show is spot on.

I prefer Monk but Psych can be pretty damn funny.

The show gets better (especially Gus) as the show goes on. Enjoy the ride! They do some pretty good dramatic episodes as well.

The last couple seasons tried to get to "drama-ish." The rest was very funny. I still enjoy watching episodes from time to time.

GOAT detective comedy? Yes.
GOAT detective show? No, but I'd say it's still pretty high on that list.

Good call on Moonlighting. That was a great show, even as a kid.

But Psych is amazing. It's one of my favorite shows of all time. If OP loves it this much after just one season, he is in for a fricking treat.

Yes it is.

And not on the same level but another solid show is The Good Guys. Netflix has it as well

Haven't watched it, but it's on my list of shows to watch for sure.
