I've never read a comic in my life and never get super hyped about the movies. I do enjoy them for popcorn entertaining movies that they are. I just saw Batman v Superman and wanted to give my cents from a guy who had 0 expectations.

The first half of the movie I was really liking it. Liked the tone and pace and characters. BTW I watched the ultimate edition and god damn didn't realize it was 3 hours long. lol

When they introduced Luther and got more into his plot line it started wobbling. Bad casting

The part where Batman was about to kill Superman and he said "they are going to kill Martha" and then he stopped is where it lost me. WTF was that? it was a jump the shark moment for me. why would he say that right then? and who says there moms name and not just say "they're going to kill my mom"?

Affleck was ok for me, but liked him as Wayne more than Batman.

from then on it was all over the place for me. ended ok, but i gave it a C+

call me old school, but give me Keaton and the first 2 as my favorites. I also loved the Nolan trilogy

since i never read all the threads about this when it came out, what did the M/TV board think?

According to this board it's the worst film ever put onto film.

I personally thought it was okay, it was easily worth my $10 IMAX ticket.

I watched it a couple weeks ago as well.

I thought it was pretty bad. Not even entertaining a lot of the time, and most of it made very little sense.

To be honest, I was pretty indifferent about it from the beginning when it was announced, but I did want to like it, I just didn't.

SPOILERS FOR PEOPLE OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T PAY ATTENTION TO SUPERMAN LORE

You seriously thought Martha was Superman's birth mom?

I sure as hell don't call my step-mom, 'mom'.

It's still stupid as someone is killing you, you just yell out "they're going to kill Martha". Wtf

That whole scene is cringeworthy

Most babies adopted from birth call the adopted parents mom and dad. Or "Ma and Pa"

This is such a dumb thing to troll about, but I'll bite. She's not his "step mom", she's his adoptive mother. The only one he's ever actually known. Yes he would call her mom. Don't be an idiot.

Posters strive to outdo each other when it comes to shitting on this movie. Seriously, if this is the worst movie you've seen then you've lived a charmed life.

BvS and A.I. Are the two worst movies I've ever seen.

I'm just saying that him not calling her 'mom' is totally reasonable since she isn't his birth mother and he knows as much. To think otherwise is a ridiculous nitpick.

It needed more dialogue and less cinematography.

I still do not understand the monster at the end. It was as if they said "here is the villain." WtF does blood of my blood mean?

It's referencing the part where Mark Zuckerberg hit Zod in the face with the money shot in his usual manner....

.....with his hand.

She's always been known as Ma Kent in the comics. He referred to his parents as Ma and Pa, since they were farm folk.

I've seen a lot of variations of him calling her Mom or his mother, but I've never seen a variation where he referred to her as Martha.

I'll agree with this. The movie wasn't nearly as bad as people made it out to be, but it was still pretty bad.

It isn't even close to being the worst movie I've ever seen.

That title goes to Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Pa would've tanned his super hide if he did, that's why.
