I'm loving the Marvel Cinematic Universe but it's moving so slow

I thought civil war was absolutely stellar. But they've been building up this fight with Thanos for too long. I work under the assumption that Guardians 2 will develop the story a bit further and Thor will also likely do it. But these movies aren't gonna be any time soon.

I just feel like they should be releasing 3 or more movies a year to speed this up.

I feel exactly opposite. I hope the franchise dies a quick death so that no one has to be subjected to these cinematic abortions.

Actors and directors are busy with other projects. Rushing projects is how you get movies that are pieces of shite.

Gotta agree with this guy

I'd say their nailing it so far

Cap 3 could of been a cap 3 movie but instead we basically got another avengers movie plus Spider-Man was reintroduced and used very well same for black panther plus Antman joining the party what more could you want from cap 3?

They're doing a great job. Stay the course.

I'm starting to get burned out by all these comic films. I'll always wish them the best since I grew up reading them, but I'm pretty much over it.

They both come out next year.

But I do agree that after Infinity War they need to take a 5 year hiatus of making them.

If they don't, I may take a break from them, at least for awhile.

I'm fine with how they're doing it if they keep the quality up.

We're getting 2-3 solid films a year, some of which are fantastic like Civil War.
We slowly get to see more and more of the universe interact with each other (Spiderman, the Black Panther, Ant man).
Once a year we get a new character introduced with potential for a new franchise. Dr. Strange is THE Marvel character I've been wanting to see done, and I for one am excite.
Every 3-4 years we get a big payoff with a team up.

The only weak part of this franchise is the villains. Most have not been memorable or just didn't feel like much of a threat. Then again, I think Thanos is about to change that in a big way.

Is Infinity War the conclusion to the storyline?

The movies are good and there's only a few every year. It's your imagination that there's this glut. There's an Xmen every couple years, 2 Marvel movies a year, and maybe some sort of DC movie every other year.

I don't want to live in a world where movies like Deadpool don't get made.

Exactly. I wish a damn super hero movie was released monthly as long as they stayed high quality.

Anyone has the option not to watch. But I want to watch more.

Agree here. I was thinking about it after civil war. I was like "well it was effective, but there goes another non badass villain"

Yeah the MCU villains haven't been awesome. Loki was the focus early on, and Thanos hasn't appeared yet. I wish MCU could do Juggernaut as a Thor foe or match him against Hulk.

And that the heros are never really at risk. Civil War was good but at no point did it ever feel like one the Avengers could die. Hell, even at the airport they were making comments about going back to being friends when it's done.

That's my biggest problem with the MCU, it gets boring because there is no risk.
