So you're telling me these guys are producing moonshine and selling it. Producing it is illegal.

How exactly are they able to produce this show. You would think they'd just go round up everybody in the show and put them in the pokie.

These shows blow my mind. Why can't we have a show called "Dealing Smack" and "Mad Meth" if its okay to produce shows about illegal activities.

They do have shows that follow illegal activity. Quite a few shows I have seen have followed drug dealers, even saw one that showed crack and meth being made.

I think this show is absolutely fake. It has to be.

How many drug shows depicts people actually shooting drugs though. I bet not many if any.

I just would think the ABC would arrest them if true as a chance to prove their worth

Are you asking why the producers don't get in trouble or why the subjects don't get in trouble?

Both. Producers seem to encourage illegal activity. Then the subjects just document them making it/dealing/profiting.

Producers have no responsibility to intervene since they're treated as merely witnesses.

And for the drug users/moonshiners/whatever, they can't be prosecuted because the court can't prove what they were smoking/drinking is illegal.

I am guessing here..............I think the sheriffs in the counties where the show is filmed do not enforce the moonshine laws. since sheriff is an elected position the people in those counties do not want to waste time chasing moon shiners.

Also, Moon shine is a high end, expensive product. It costs much more than legal stuff in stores so it is not attracting a rough element.

I'm assuming you are unaware that reality tv is actually scripted? It's ALL fake.

The only shows that I would say have a hint of reality would be competition reality shows the likes of survivor....

Think you are right about the moonshiners.

As far as drug shows, Drugs, Inc.and other documentary shows have people using drugs every episode. shooting up heroin

They talk with dealers but they don't show their faces and sometimes disguise their voices. crack dealer

That is one of the greatest ones... Everytime I see the commercials I chuckle and think to myself "People actually believe this shite is real?"

Again EVERYTHING is scripted in these shows...

Another glaring example was the other day when I was watching Pawn Stars... A dude brought in his Back to the Future Delorean to sell. It was the EXACT same guy that "sold" his delorean on Auction Kings last year.

I was about to look at that but it's too early in the morning to watch someone bang smack.

They all are and anyone who thinks otherwise is just plain dumb or amazingly naive...

Like I've said, I know someone that was on one of these shows one time and EVERYTHING was scripted out.

Does that mean they aren't entertaining, no... Its just you should take them for what they are worth, as fictional crap.
