I've watched the wire and homeland and I don't think it is even close how much better the wire is. Homeland is still a good show, though.
Seen a couple episodes of Breaking Bad and I'm sure it is a very, very good show... just doesn't hook me like the other two.

I love Homeland but I don't think it is even in the same league as The Wire or BB yet.

Breaking Bad just continuously gets better so the hook is obviously not there.

Maybe homeland will get to the level of the other two one day, but it just isn't there yet. The other two are so much better than anything else out there.
My roommate started the wire over the break and I'm pretty pumped to watch some season 4 when I get back to the apartment.
