A fantastic story that is clever, smart, and difficult. From the opening scene, the tension and intensity slowly and continuously build until the end of the movie. This story does not shy away from the difficult and agonizing issues that must be faced in such a scenario.

The acting is outstanding by the entire cast with special commendation for Alan Rickman, Helen Mirren, Aaron Paul, and Barkhad Abdi (probably known best for his role as lead Somali pirate in Captain Philips). You easily connect and feel for the drone pilots, for the military officers, for the children, for the parents, for the Somali and Kenyan undercover agents, for the targeting sergeant. You will be anxious, you will be angered, you will be frustrated, you will be saddened, and you may be thankful depending on your point of view.

And one final mention: Alan Rickman delivers one of the most profound lines I have ever heard before toward the end and does so in a way that only Alan Rickman can do.
