Great show. Season 1 was my favorite, but this last season was great. I love where they're going.

Yeah, Season 6 was great. The Battle of the Bastards and Cersei blowing up the Sept were incredible.

Actually, Seasons 2, 4, and 6 were my favorite.

The last 2 episodes of 3 were great but the first 8 were kinda meh.

4 is the best season IMO. There are no episodes from it that I'd put in the top 5, but every episode was like a 9/10 to 9.5/10. Consistently great.

6 had two top 5 episodes (episode 9 and episode 10). I think the Cersei explosion scene is the best of the entire series. The score was phenomenal, the build-up, everything about it was so well done.

Aside from Tyrion's trial and Joffrey's death, Season 4 totally shits the bed on any given scene. It fails to captalize on the true tragedy of Tyrion's life. The Battle at the Wall is a celebration of excess. Littlefinger being revealed as the true antagonist of the series is treated as an aside and not an incredible revelation. Dany fricking blows. It's honestly just such a disappointing season.

Yeah, I've never gotten the love for 4. I consider 4-5 to be pretty weak relative to the other seasons.

David and Dan should be kicked in the balls for this scene: LINK

I mean, how the frick could they have written that and thought to themselves "That's great television". It's debatably the best chapter of the book when LF is revealed as the true villain, but nope let's make it where LF and Lysa just mention it as an aside, because our average retarded viewer has no idea who Jon Arryn is anyway.

Yeah the scene was perfectly done and fun to watch but the story elements of it sucked. So much buildup and possibilities only to have everyone killed off with little payoff. Not to mention, everyone's favorite theory getting squashed. frick D&D, frick them in their stupid assholes

Oh please. The Watchers on the Wall was great TV. Pure battle for a whole episode.

Its a pure battle, but I think D&D learned from it. Hardhome and the Battle of the Bastards are infinitely superior to it. There is so much fricking filler in it and its not that entertaining. Really, aside from Ygritte's death, what do you remember about it? Now talk to me about Blackwater. It's all memorable. Yes, it looks cool, but its not in the top half. If you remove the action, its one of the worst episodes of the series. None of the other battle episodes I can say the same for.

They probably underestimate the attention-spans and amount of online over-analysis on the part of show-only viewers.
