It was too cheesy and not the good cheesy that was Smallville either.

I like her family member. Her cousin. The other guy. The guy with the powers.

Never seen Supergirl, but Smallville was legit. Erica Durance was so fine.

For a genre consistently fighting for respect, this caters to the lowest common denominator.Probably a good reason it's on CBS.

It waa awful, even with low expectation and not caring about comics. I only made it 3/4 of the first episode. So lame.

I think the show is exactly what it purports to be. A female superhero show AIMED at a youngish girl demographic, with hopefully enough action and DC storyline to attract boys. It is a little cheesy, but Melissa Benoist is cute and goofy, and hopefully it will develop a little more "gravitas" in the storylines and develop. It's not a Daredevil, Jessica Jones, or even Gotham...and it was never intended to be and I never expected it to be.

I was going to give it a season before I watched. I figured the initial 1 or 2 episodes would get good reviews. Wanted to see what people said after a season.

Along with every other DC property.

Marvel: we're going to make blockbusters and amazing Netflix series that culminate in a rebirth of the comic book genre.

DC: we're going to choose the shitties cable network then just license them our properties without giving a shite about the final product and limp dick our movies out there. We give 0 shits about the integrity of our IP.

Suicide Squad very well might be the exception to the very disappointing rule DC has crated since TDK

She has to be the most depressed, low self esteem superhero ever. Always complaining and if she does something right she runs around boasting about it wanting everyone to acknowledge it.

Smallville could be hokey and cheesy, but it was an awesome show. I think the CW does well with Arrow, FLash, and LOT looks very promising.

I watched the pilot and wasn't impressed. Haven't bothering checking out the subsequent episodes. And this is coming from a huge Smallville fan.

It's cheesy and not good cheesy.

But my kids love it-I assume that is the market they are aiming for?

Although main character is good looking, she lacks the charisma to play the role of a superhero.

Also, too many PC subtext.

I've never watched an episode. I more of a Dardevil and Jessica Jones guy.
