How man times can he use the N word?

It was Jackie Brown that first got him in N trouble.

38 times when it was totally unnecessary. Started a row between Quentin and Spike Lee.

I really don't give a single crap. My early post was a valid reason for some folks who don't like it. They would have a valid reason to not like his films because he really does go over the top.

I like him but it's obvious in his films the human body is composed of nothing but femoral arteries under so much pressure it would flatten the moon.

I'm not saying it necessarily doesn't make you think. It's just that it's not like these films are overly cerebral or deep. For me, he's way too stylized and I'm just not entertained.

At least give us an example as to how one of his movies made you think.

Yeah, I know exactly what Kill Bill made me think. This story is stupid. Did Tarantino write the screenplay after having a conversation with a 9 year-old?

I love how everybody on here hates Django because it was corny like a spaghetti western.

His movies are great, but they certainly do not "make you think"... his talent lies in snappy dialogue and unpredictable narrative perturbations, not an ability to make his audience "think".

yep, and the big bang theory haters just don't have the intellectual capacity to understand it.

Never seen a Tarantino movie that I liked, but I don't think much. It hurts my head.

They all make you think. None of his movies plots happen in order of events. Its not just some straight lined plot BS that a fricking 3rd grader can understand. That's the type of movies most of you on this board like. I know because I read the thread titles of the movies that are discussed. If you showed a dimbass inglorious basterd or pulp fiction they would have a hard time following it because the plot jumps around. It's brilliant really...so yeah they do make you think.

His movies aren't "like" anyone else's. They are artsy, and very different than any other directors movies. That's what makes them unique.

And those of you who are complaining about violence and swearing....please don't tell me you enjoy Martin Scorsese movies, because his are composed of even more violence and swearing.

FWIW i love Scorsese as well.

I may be the biggest QT fan on the board, top 5 for sure and it's perfectly acceptable to not like his movies

not sure if serious or new to the board. Anyone who likes any LCD movie or tv show is ridiculed

wow! so profound! Do you need a Ph.D. to understand a flashback?

They are like the many cult genres he unapologetically borrows from.
