re: Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 (Spoilers)

I saw it with the gf like a week ago and didn't mind the series until the whole sewer scene. Like what the frick were those faceless things? In a realm that is apparently supposed to be like earth, to include those just totally threw me off and pushed me to hate the series now.

I did jump out of my freaking seat when they finally showed them though. They build that suspense up pretty well lol.

They didn't really make it clear like it was in the books, but Gale pretty much designed the bombs that killed her sister. She wasn't a fan of him much after that.

Book sucked, movies sucked.

A big thing in the books was the mutant shite the capital made, the ending part of the first book had dogs mixed with former competition instead of just regular dogs like in the movie. So there were dog/human hybrids for each of the killed characters from the hunger games. There was a lot more explanation of the fricked up shite like tracker jackers and mockingjays that wasn't really discussed in the movies. So when they had the weird creatures in the sewer that smelled like roses and said Katniss, it made sense in the book. In the movie, it was just like WTF is this shite.
