About a week after I signed up, the app said "Card Shipped" so I was pretty stoked. Then later it changed to "Card Processing" and I'm still waiting.
Same. Via twitter on Sept 21, they said that all backorders would be shipped by tomorrow. I'm having my doubts about that.

I'm shocked, on Saturday Sept. 30 I finally got an e-mail from Moviepass saying my card has shipped!
Only 32 days after I signed up.
Just in time for Blade Runner.

Got an email saying it's shipped and it'll be here in 5-7 business days
Been a solid month wait for me I think as well

We closed out September with 9 movies. Almost enough to get promoted from Ruby to Diamond level on the Regal Crown Club Rewards program in September, alone. We have 2X points on our AMC Stubs Premier for the month of October, so we'll continue to wear this bitch out.
As we left Kingsmen last night, my wife said, "How many movies did we see this month?" "Nine."
"We can do better."
My thought is that after the holidays, we'll probably drop the premium movie channels from Xfinity, since we'll be totally up on literally every movie coming out in the following six months. I might pick it up again once GoT and American Gods come back.

The holidays rock. Usually a great crop of movies.

I think I saw 6? I went to several night showings so I think living in Nashville I saw about $75 worth of movies for $10.
I'm normally at the theater at least twice a week in October, November and December. Can't wait.

I wasn't getting emails prior to our cards arriving, either, but they've been pretty good about updating via Facebook. From this morning:

To the MoviePass Community,
Thank you so much for your patience as we work to get MoviePass cards out as quickly as possible. If you’re waiting for your MoviePass card to arrive in the mail, there are 4 questions that you most likely are asking:
1. When will I get my card?
2. Why is it taking so long?
3. What will you do to improve this for the future?
4. Will I be charged while I am not using the card?
Let us answer those for you.
When
You should be receiving your card shortly. We have confirmed that all back orders and new orders will be filled in the next 10 days at the latest. We are sending emails when your card ships to let you know that it’s on the way.
Why
When we changed our prices, we had no idea how overwhelming the response would be from customers and the press. In fact, we were told that the announcement was the #1 trending consumer news article in the world. Our membership grew by 2300% in 6 weeks.
What
What have we done to ensure we don’t fall behind again? We have massively stocked our card inventory to prevent having backlogs in the future and have additional facilities pressing cards. We have tripled the size of our Customer Service team to be able to respond to needs quicker. We are completely updating our CS tools to make it easier to respond in a timely manner. Will You will not be billed while you are waiting for your card to arrive. In certain locations, there are theaters that have e-ticketing available. Goodrich Quality Theaters, Studio Movie Grill, and MJR Theatres support our app’s e-ticketing feature. You can attend these theaters immediately upon sign-up even if you have not received your card. Your account will begin when you make your first e-ticket reservation and that will set your billing date. E-ticketing is at the theater chain's discretion. If you wish to have e-ticketing at theaters near you let the theater know. We will do everything possible to get those theaters live with e-ticketing as soon as possible.
We look forward to you seeing many movies with us and being part of our rapidly growing community.
Thank you,
The MoviePass Team

Ive used it twice so far with no problems, but i went to the app today to check out what was showing at the theater i have been going to with this card and it wasnt on the app anymore. I called the theater and asked if they stopped accepting moviepass there and they said no, they still do so idk what is going on there. Anyone else having issues with movie theaters in area showing as available?

Ima gonna be mad if after I get mine people start getting theirs instantly. Like everyone should have to go thru this torture of checking the mail every day hoping its there. That should be the catch

Finally! Got my card in the mail!
What a journey it's been.
1. Signed up August 29.
2. I think immediately in the app it showed the last 4 digits of the card (which were correct). Interesting (to me) that the number was assigned immediately.
3. About a week later the app said "Card Shipped," so for the next week I eagerly checked my mail each day.
4. Eventually the app changed to "Card Processing." Bamboozled!
5. I think around then MoviePass sent out an e-mail saying "2-3 week delay." Yeah right.
6. Finally on September 30 I got an e-mail saying my card has shipped, 32 days after signing up.
7. One week later I got my card on October 7, so 39 days after signing up.
I'm guessing a lot of people will get their card this weekend, and people who signed up later won't wait as long.
This will be my first movie with the MoviePass.

Quick question as I have no clue how this works. So, do you have to purchase a pass per person, say both my gf and I? Or does it simply reduce the ticket price for however many you purchase like a discount card TIA

Has anyone else never gotten any email from them? I signed up almost a month ago but I still haven't any gotten communication from them other than my account being charged.

At the moment, each person has to have their own MP card/app/Account. They don't have a way for multiple tickets to be bought by a single payment.

Signed up Sept 21 and am getting anxious. I have refused to go to the movies until it gets here, on the principal that I'd be paying for something that would be "free" anytime now
Might miss out on IT, don't want to miss Blade Runner or a couple others coming out soon like Justice League and Thor
