My family and I are thinking about going to go see it tomorrow. I have read reviews that have said it was too unrealistic. As very knowledgeable football fans, it would be disappointing to see a unrealistic draft process. Would you recommend this movie? TIA

Haven't seen it myself but it looks mediocre. Just from the previews it looks like Costner will make a crazy draft day trade that works out - if you like the sound of that this could be the movie for you!

My parents saw it Friday morning. Said it was ok, kinda what you'd expect.

You can see where the plot is going... Wait until it comes on netflicks or redbox

It's actually really good for what it is. If you go into not thinking it's going to be a movie based on the hours leading up to the draft you will be disappointed. It is realistic in my mind. Come on nothing happen that was crazier than the redskins giving up all those picks for RG3

I saw it, it was ok, I'm a sports fan but I don't know (or pretend to know like a lot of people do) the inner workings of the draft.

The most unrealistic part is the browns are loaded at the end and are chanting "Super Bowl, Super Bowl"

it's better than the trailer makes it look but it's not anything super special. If the NFL Draft is interesting to you then you'll be entertained.

Although I haven't seen it my biggest question about the movie is that I have no idea how good a team is after the draft. Tom Brady was drafted 199 and Ryan Leaf was drafted second. You may have drafted an all pro or you may have drafted garbage.

If you are interested in the Draft, watch NFLNs new series "Caught in the Draft" it looks back at past drafts (this year they do 1964,1974,1984,1994, and 2004)

Really fun history about the draft and the big storylines of each draft.

Yeah I mean that's still true but they do a good job of sort of putting you in the shoes of Costner as best they can. By the time I left the theatre that didn't bother me as much. Hard to explain why without spoilers.

it was a solid movie besides a few gaffes.

They have the guys talking in the lockeroom and it is supposed to be 2014 and you see Richardson's locker. I mean come on that happened 6 months ago, you couldnt replace the name?
