Have you been living under a rock?

Holy shite dude. This movie is pure 90s at heart. Los Angeles in the 90s made for some amazing movies to watch that you could just watch over and over.

I loved the hell out of the airport scene at the end.

Shut your whore mouth. Say what you will about the sequel, but the original was a great action thriller

Also, I believe it was Keanu's first role without all the trademarked surfer boy hair.. I remember when I first saw it i had felt he was all grown up now.

Williams masterpiece Deep Rising

Masterpiece is right!

Only thing that could have made that movie better would be if Famke Janssen got naked (which she did not, tragically)

At the least this movie isn't talked about as much on this board nearly as much as it deserves. Definitely a classic in my mind and will watch it over and over again.

I'd venture a guess that it's rarely talked about because almost everyone has seen it 50 times.

Definitely one of those movies that greatly exceeds the plot summary or trailer when you watch it. All around great movie, good acting (even for Keanu...well sorta), great plot twists, suspense.

Face/off is probably the GOAT ridiculous action movie from the 90s

I crack up every time he does the hand thing to his daughters face.

"Thanks for pushing that, Bob. The light's on, but ya never know, it really might be broken."

I think this about twice a week waiting for an elevator and someone hits the already lit button.

Face/Off is a good choice. I was thinking about ConAir.

I love face/off but it is sort of when action movies lost their way.

Indepence Day was the end. Everything was all CGI afterward. The real special effect action movie was dead.

80's action movies were the GOAT. Speed was an 80's action movie at heart. Simple plot, all-American hero, great bad guy and big "real" effects.

Even a movie like Predator knew not to go to far with the lasers or it wouldn't feel real.
