I've always wondered why studios are afraid of releasing films in months such as Feb and March. You literally have no competition, so if it's a good film it can make a killing. I expect Deadpool to clean up until BvS arrives.

This movie deserves it. Amazing.

Marketing was great. I'm not too familiar with the character but it sold me.

Went to the 10:45 showing this morning in LC and there were maybe 3-4 seats left in the theater. Guessing remaining shows today will sell out.

Pretty awesome considering Deadpool is not a well known mainstream character.

We need an R rated Wolverine film. Also, Lobo and X-Force

It's a non 3D movie at that. It's breaking records selling regular priced tickets.

The reaction to the leaked Comic-Con footage is probably 95% why they even made the movie.

I'm talking about the Cosplayers who react with other Cosplayers. Just like the gif in the OP. Many like myself had no idea what Deadpool really was outside the X-Men origins. The Cosplayers showed Deadpools real personality and got people legit curious about him

exactly. i'm going with 3 people tonight (2 who think i'm a nerd, 1 who reads comic books into his 30s) and they solely want to see it based on the ads they saw on the redband trailer.

the marketing campaign nailed this in every aspect.

they honestly should give youtube a check for hosting the redband trailer.

I get what you are saying, and I agree.

I'm going with a group in about an hour and I'm the only one who has been legit pumped about it. The others have heard good things and I've been pushing them to get them to go. I'm sure the word will spread even more after this.
