How did I not know that Stargate SG1 had full frontal nudity?

I'm rewatching the 1st episode of Stargate SG1 that I found on the net, and to my surprise there is nudity. And not just arse, it was full frontal nudity (tits & bush). I had totally forgot that the first few seasons were on Showtime. I had only seen reruns of the first few seasons on the Sci Fi Network, so I never knew that the original versions had nudity. Is there nudity throughout the seasons that premiered on Showtime?

I remember it being in the pilot but not really anywhere following that. Maybe some but I don't recall any other full frontal scenes. Showtime wanted it in and while Wright disagreed they called the shots and had her in her full glory. There's like 3 or 4 different cuts of the pilot and most of them removed the nudity and some corny dialogue associated with it.

I've seen the pilot multiple times, but I guess it was always the cuts that didn't have the nudity. Needless to say that it caught be way off guard when I saw it today with the full frontal scene. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining at all. But I'm glad I wasn't watching it with any kids in the room because it never would've even crossed my mind that there was even a chance of nudity in Stargate SG1.

Haha yeah that could've been awkward with kids around. Funny you posted this. I just started a rewatch last week and was severely disappointed at the edited version I stream off of Amazon. Awesome show but tygermyth's point is well taken. Especially later Carter when she grew some hair, Nirrti, Vala, Adria, dr Keller, and the only worthwhile thing on sgu Lt James
