I really want to see John Wick but man I just don't feel like watching a puppy die, even if it is an actor puppy.

So how bad is the scene? Just a quick death or is it drawn out and stuff?

I see the irony in someone who loves blood, guts, and horror not wanting to watch a short moment where a puppy gets snuffed.

I can't remember for sure....but I don't think you see much.

The fact that I can't remember is probably a good sign...I wasn't traumatized

when the dog dies you don't have much context.. so , no real ties to the dog..

As the movie progresses you begin to realize how much the dog meant...

You can handle it.

You don't get gory details of a puppy dying. I mean, you know it's happening but it's not some sick Internet shite.

I think they just show a gun pointed at something off screen and the trigger being pulled.

If I remember correctly they basically show it off screen.

They show it on screen but it's blurry and they kind of jump cut it so you know what happened but it's not like murder porn

It's off screen for the most part. They do show the puppy crawling up to wick when he's unconscious though.

wow, if this is a real concern then you shouldn't be allowed to watch the movie. you sound like the biggest pussy ever, first of its a damn movie so its not even real, second off its a damn movie so they aren't going to show a puppy getting its head bashed in.

Get over yourself. You are probably just a little attention whore but my god what a stupid concern.

Oh and you are so cool for liking puppies. No one likes puppies, especially not men, so its real brave of you to express your concern for puppies.

Frick off and please don't watch the movie

It's not when the kill the puppy that's disturbing, it's the fact they waste the meat after. Theres starving kids in china f

It's shown off screen but you can hear it. When John regains consciousness he gathers up the dog's body and holds her for a while then buries her.

For me, I found it pretty heartbreaking and makes all the violence afterwards justifiable. Maybe a little hyperbolic, but I own 3 beagles.

Fwiw-don't think for a second that the breed of dog they chose to play Daisy was just a random decision.

It is not as near as bad as it sounds honestly. Slow knife in Saving Private Ryan is much, much worse.
