Is it possible that you are only seeing the best of what the UK has to offer? I love Peep Show/IT Crowd/Sherlock/Luther/Mitchell & Webb Look, but those are pretty much the only British shows I've seen. I can pretty much match those in quality between AMC (Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Walking Dead) and FX (Archer, Louie, Sunny, League, Justified, SoA ) alone before hitting up HBO/Showtime/Stars. I think the likes of Big Brother/X Factor are pretty big over there.

Yeah. I think the only British TV we see is the shows good enough to make it over here. I'm sure they have some stinkers.

I may be stating the obvious but the dog at the beginning is a metaphor for Russo...I kinda of saw it coming. "There's two types of suffering. The kind that makes you stronger and the useless kind which I have no tolerance for" I paraphrased that.
It bothers me that no one addressed the fact that Russo was in the passenger seat. That's a huge red flag. Also, why didn't Francis ever blackmail Zoe with those pictures he took of her with his phone at the beginning.

I saw the Russo murder coming from a mile away, but I think they could have done without it.
Like others have said, killing him seems a sloppy move, especially leaving him in the passenger seat like that. Francis is really smart, but it seems like russo's murder will come back to haunt him.
