So I just finished Season 3.
I've actually just started watching the show a month ago and I've finally completed the show up until it's last episode.
How many of all actually like this show?
Thoughts on what comes next?

Season 1 was epic, season 2 was good, season 3 started to jump the shark a bit, but I'm still watching and waiting for season 4.

For me it was 1 > 3 > 2.
I think I liked season 3 a lot more than 2 because Dana was a lot more absent towards the end of the season.

When you watch The Americans it puts two things into perspective: a.) How shitty and harmless the Muslims are. b.) What Homeland could have been/be if they didn't focus on the got damn Brodies so much.

i read that carrie gets moved to station chief over in the middle east. i'm not sure where saul comes into play as he's "retired" in santorini. Also is Brodie really dead?

did they show his face? typical tv/movie rules tell me, no face = no confirmation of death.
I can't recall if they did or not. That said, I hope he's dead. It's time for a new story line.

Season 1 was good. Season 2-2.5 was good. Season 2.5-3.5 was unbelievably horrible.
I have hope we're coming around, but the mental illness angle is an albatross on this show. There is no need to make the life of a case officer/station chief "seem" dramatic by giving her a condition that is totally unrealistic for such a person.

The "plays" her and Saul made the last season and a half were too stupid to even be remotely believable.

I was getting really tired of his family.
I don't know if I want Brody to be dead. Isn't the whole story line based on the fact that Brody is a traitor?
How would the writers even play that off, though?

Brody should've died in season 1 when he blew himself up. Show was dead to me after that.
