Yeah, I'm pretty sure all states have a statute of limitations, unless a weapon is involved or something...and you're right, since it's 30 years later & the victim isn't here to make the call, not much would likely come out of it. But I thought there was "something" in California that separated itself from the other states, which gave these Hollywood pedos a loophole of sorts. I don't know. It's been awhile since I'd read that, so maybe someone more knowledgeable could elaborate.
Which is why I thought that maybe this story is an attempt to get someone who's still alive to come forward...from a legal perspective, it might be their only chance to bring this scumbag down. I'm not so sure outing him would be enough to hurt his reputation, unlike someone else in any other line of work...

It's not Downey or Charlie sheen. They were not huge a list stars yet in the early 80s. This is someone who was likely much older and more established at that time. Martin sheen fits the profile in terms of age and notoriety .not saying it's him but my guess is this person is at least 60 years old if not older now.

Check a few pages back. It came from comments on a forum that people believe to be RDJ. He was basically talking about how fricked up Hollywood is with regards to sexual abuse and how many scumbags are in the industry

Like so many child-stars that fall into drug/alcohol addictions post molestation (Haim, Feldman, River Phoenix, Todd Bridges, etc) Martin being outed would help explain Charlie's drug-fueled hyper-sexual behavior if he was molested by his own dad.
