Anyone catch the Showtime documentary on The Eagles. Great documentary on a great American band.

The only one I can stand is Joe Walsh.

Glen Frey and Don Henley made shite for music.

It's a good documentary, and thorough.

good catch

It is really, REALLY thorough though. 3+sprawling hours of thorough. Took me 4 seperate viewings to see it all. If you didn't dig JW before, you probably will after. Most everyone else comes off pretty douchetastic, but I found it genuinely entertaining in places.

They played some clips on the radio, and glen Frey was every bit as insufferable as I remembered.

Joe Walsh is amazing, though. How is he alive?

I have it recorded but I saw that it was 3 hours long and trying to find time to watch it.

It's really broken up into two parts-- their "real" time together and their reunion in '94. You can watch it that way.

I agree that the chronology on Joe Walsh is the best but anyone who doesn't appreciate the collaboration between Henley and Frey (even with all their b.s.)is just crazy.

Huge fan of Lebowski.

But yeah, I did see it on Showtime. I didn't realize it was that long when I was watching it. I thought it was real good.
