Solid episode so far. I really do wish robin and red had ended up together.

Yep. And I'll forgive the past few seasons being mostly filler when this wedding and finale could have happened seasons ago, because the payoff is still awesome. I give more shits about the story in this sitcom that most dramas.

I wasn't a big fan of having Robin and Ted bullshite yet again, but whatever. They sure as hell keep throwing up ALL kinds of red flags about why Robin and Barney shouldn't be together, including the whole "legendary = lie" thing and ending the episode with that. But whatever.
That being said, I enjoyed the episode. I was actually kinda sad to see the slap bet end.
Even though I've only been watching this show since about season four or five, I'm gonna miss it. Can't wait for next week.

Where is the legendary lie stuff coming from?
Was that an after credits scene?

No. It was the last word of the episode. early on, Robin made this big deal telling Ted that Barney's whole "legendary" thing meant that it was just a lie.
And the episode ended with Robin and Barney walking out of the chapel and Saget saying something like "Robin and Barney did just that...and it was legendary."

Has it been mentioned how the writers took another shot at Marshall? Having Barney say it was his fault and not lilys. Why the frick are they so intent on this?

Slap bet ending was bittersweet

Probably pissed at Jason for half timing this season.

Great episode, frickin' one more, surreal.
So pumped though, what did the preview say? Let them surprise you one more time? Hmmm.

I admittedly am not as much of an expert on this show as most of you, but I think y'all are possibly reading WAY too much into the whole "legendary" thing. Just because Robin had a fear at the beginning of the episode about legendary=lies, then at the very end of the episode saget says the wedding was legendary, in no way means it was a lie or something crazy.
For 10 years this show has been using that word to refer to stuff that's awesome, I don't think saying a wedding btwn Barney and Robin is legendary is some secret, hidden code. Granted, I could be 100% wrong, but this seems to me like what would happen with LOST where fans would outthink themselves to the nth degree instead of taking things at face value sometimes. Perhaps it was just a really great wedding?

Hollywood is always feminizing men. Lily's whole Italy thing is bullshite. No way a real couple gives up a judgeship for a one year pipe dream.

If you have been enjoying this show since season 5 and haven't seen the first four seasons, you need to go to Netflix and watch them. First four seasons are without a doubt the best. All but maybe three or four of the classic HIMYM episodes are in the first four seasons.
