Am I the only one who enjoyed Seasons 1-3 but thought Season 4 was kind of bad? The whole Common story and the way they did that midway into the season was terrible IMO.

I enjoyed season 4, felt it was weak in many areas but overall was ok. Had some shock value to it, which they kinda depended on it seemed.

It had one of the best, and most original scenes I have ever witnessed on Television. The way they shot the hanging of the preacher lady was fantastic. Going from her pov made for an incredible moment. The suspense was so thick. Her pov added even more weight to the sense Anson would save her somehow. There wasn't a single second of that scene where you didn't think she was going to end up alive after the black screen.
But in that scene, the hood, the darkness, her hyperventilating, the fall, the heartbeat. It all created an absolutely surreal moment.
Season 4 definitely had its lows, but I think that was one of the best scenes in scinematic TV history.

I remember that scene being cool in surround sound and I agree, her pov made it more prominent.
